High quality fine art giclée print, from the original painting series of aviation themed works by artist Lise Lemeland. An aerobatic pilot herself, the artist includes images of airplanes and aeronautical maps in many of her works.
The original oil painting depicts the pilot's view while flying upside down (a reference to aerobatics) and approaching a runway. Having the "field in sight" is a phrase used when talking to air traffic control, when the pilot visually identifies the runway ahead.
