Lise is inspired by the abundant beauty in nature, patterns from all over the world and the decorative arts of many cultures. All patterns are carefully painted by hand, and are created by the artist. An aviator herself, she sometimes sneaks airplanes into the patterns as an homage to her experiences flying.
